The Glasnost - Wood is probably the first mailbox world-wide with a stylish solid wood front and stainless steel body. The design of this box combines style and simplicity with real functionality!

The front is made of timber plank, mounted on a stainless-steel baseplate.

larch wood is very rich in resin and therefore most suitable for the exterior. As the wood is untreated it can be coloured, varnished, glazed or oiled. In our opinion, treatment is not necessary. By and by a silvery film appears on the larch and the mailbox gets its patina.The Glasnost - Glass is probably the first mailbox world-wide with a stylish translucent glass front and stainless steel body. The design of this box combines style and simplicity with real functionality.

The Glasnost range has become a real mailbox classic. The design has followed the Bauhaus philosophy reflecting a minimalist style and won the design award FORM 2001. Style and quality are apparent throughout the whole range of Glasnost mailboxes and this starts with the feel and weight when you open the box. Each box weighs a hefty 9kg and this directly reflects the thickness of stainless steel used in the manufacture of the box. The funnel shaped opening ensures mail is deposited unhindered and falls directly into the box. The size of the letter opening is Royal Mail approved and mail cannot be retrieved through the flap. Each box comes with a quality safety lock and is supplied with 2 keys. The lock is concealed underneath the opening flap, this helps obscure the lock from "prying eyes" and also helps protect it from the elements. Available Options:
